Mr. James Edwin "Eddie" Gill, 75, husband of Joann Jenkins Gill, passed away Friday, July 25, 2014 at his home.
Born in Black Mountain, NC, the son of the late Earl Glenn and Helen Roberts Gill, Mr. Gill retired as an investigator with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and attended the Carolina Buddhist Vihara.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of fifty-four years, are two sons, Edwin Chris Gill, and Mitchell Wayne Gill (Kami), all of Liberty; a brother, David Gill of Liberty; three sisters, Betty Earlene Israel of Greenville, Nancy Louise Forester of Asheville, NC, and Patricia Sutton (Bob) of Black Mountain, NC; and two grandsons, Brandon Wayne Gill and James Tyler Gill. In addition to his parents, Mr. Gill was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Carla Gill.
A gathering to celebrate the life of Eddie will be from 2:00 PM until 3:30 PM Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley.
