James "Buddy" Hood

James Kenneth "Buddy" Hood, 61, of 311 Wellington Way, died Friday, December 19, 2008 at Emory University Medical Center in Atlanta, GA.
A native of Fort Mill, he was a son of Margaret Price Hood of Fort Mill, and the late James Marvin Hood. He worked for Clemson University Housing Department as a warehouse manager and was a member of NewSpring Church in Anderson. He was a Veteran of the US Navy having served during the Vietnam War. Mr. Hood loved spending time and doing things with his family and grandchildren.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Vicki W. Hood of the home; two daughters, Ami Hood of Clemson, Paige Telley and husband Greg of Central; a brother, Tim Hood of Fort Mill; three sisters, Rita St. Clair of Rock Hill, Fran Dubberly of Tucson, AZ, Peggy Buchannan of Jefferson; and six grandchildren, Carly, Trey, Jordan, Megan, Michael, and Angel.
A memorial service will be 4 PM Monday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service on Monday.
