James Louis Kasko, 88, husband of the late Ann E. Kasko, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 14, 2019.
Born in New York, NY, a son of the late Frank Louis Kasko and the late Margaret Pustai Hay, he was a retired Lab Technician who enjoyed coins, stamps, yardwork, reading, and cooking. Mr. Kasko was a U.S. Marine who served his Country during the Korean War and was a cherished member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church in Easley.
Surviving are a son, David James Kasko of Greenville; daughters, Patricia Darche (Dan) of Long Valley, NJ, Saundra Kasko of Easley, and Diane Frost (Richard) of Clarion, PA; a sister, Margaret Shortridge of Dover, NJ; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Calvary Hill Baptist Church, 501 Rampey Street, Easley, SC 29640.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Waycaster Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
