James H. Kircus, Jr.

James Henry Kircus, Jr., 82, of 2025 Ireland Road, died Thursday, October 30, 2008, at Palmetto Health Baptist Easley.
Born in Winder, GA, a son of the late James Henry and Mattie Bell Evatt Kircus, he was a retired employee of the Ellison Plant of Alice Manufacturing, a member of Cedar Rock Baptist Church and a US Navy veteran of WWII.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth Porter Kircus of the home; a son, James T. Kircus, Sr. (Jennifer); a daughter, Tammy L. Trotter all of Easley; two brothers, Edward Francis Kircus of Easley, and Harley Kircus of Greenville; three sisters, Leila Nell Carter, and Sara Pilgrim, both of Pickens, and Barbara Moore of Buffalo, SC;
Funeral services will be 2 PM, Saturday, in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Revs. H. C. Couch and Walter Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 PM, Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
