Mr. James Edward Lockaby, 90, husband of the late Patricia Ann Hughes Lockaby, passed away Monday, July 17, 2017.

Born in Anderson County, the son of the late William Earley and Mary Eudora Loveland Lockaby, Mr. Lockaby retired from Platt Saco-Lowell with twenty-three years of service, and was a member of United Wesleyan Church where he belonged to the Young at Heart Sunday School Class.

Surviving are two daughters, Gloria L. Parker (Sammy) of Easley, and Nancy L. Evatt of Greenville. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Lockaby was predeceased by six brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, July 20, 2017 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.

The family is at the home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the building fund of United Wesleyan Church, 738 Rice Road, Easley, SC 29640.
