James Edward Loflin, 71, husband of Yvonne Williams Loflin, died Monday, March 12, 2007 at his residence. A native of Salisbury, North Carolina he was the son of the late Carl and Mae Loflin. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and was a beloved husband and father.
In addition to his wife of 50 years, he is survived by sons: Tyler Loflin of Charlotte, NC and Chad Loflin of Central; brothers Carl Loflin and wife Dora of Southport, NC and Charles Loflin of Davidson, NC and a very special cousin, Glener Gilland of Waynesville, NC.
The family wishes to extend their love and appreciation to Dr. Brian McKinley, Dr. Jeffrey Edenfield and the staff at the Cancer Center of Easley for their extraordinary care.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621 for their love and support.
