James David McCall, 78, of Easley, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 21, 2017.

Born on August 23, 1939 in Oconee County, he was a son of the late Floyd and Vennie Martin McCall.

Mr. McCall was retired from Vulcan Materials in Liberty after 39 years of dedicated service and was of the Church of God faith. He loved his family and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Jo Morton McCall of the home; a daughter, Donna Holmes (Tim); grandsons, Dillon Holmes and Dalton Holmes (Kelsey); and a great grandson, Julian Holmes; siblings, Betty Gilreath, Dannis McCall, Stanley McCall and Larry McCall.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, September 23, 2017 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with entombment to follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday from 1:30 PM until 2:45 PM at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to McCall Hospice House, 1836 W. Georgia Road, Simpsonville, SC 29680.

The family will be at the home.
