James Russell Moore III

James Russell Moore III, 53, of Central, SC, the son of Virgina Criser and the late James Russell Moore II passed away Friday, March 3, 2023.

Born in Cumberland County, NC, he graduated from ITT Technical Institute with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He loved rebuilding and refurbishing old cars. He enjoyed his family and pets.

Surviving in addition to his mother Virgina Laird Criser and step-father Max Criser of Aiken, SC, is his significant other Kathy Walker of Chesnee, SC; sisters, Sarah Shaw Gibson (Travis) of North Augusta, SC, Jessica Shaw (Richard Putman) of North Augusta, SC and half-sister Katie Moore Huggins (Joseph) of Aynor, SC; nieces, Audry, Evelyn Gibson, and Maitlyn Huggins; nephews, Wesley Gibson and Hunter Huggins.

In addition to his father, he is predeceased by his maternal grandparents; Leon C. Laird and Ina Ruth Laird of Summerville, SC, paternal grandparents; Jack and Katie Moore Huggins of Loris, SC; and step-brother Patrick Moore.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm - 3:45 pm Friday, March 10, 2023, at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642.

Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 pm Friday, March 10, 2023, at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home- Powdersville, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642.
