James Christopher Ogle, 57, of 236 Meadow Blossom Way died Sunday, January 3, 2010 at An Med Health Center in Anderson.
Born in Washington, DC, a son of Roy and Margarette Gibbs Ogle, he was a professional engingeer with GE in Greenville, was a member of ASCE, Clemson United Methodist Church and was a former Boy Scout and earned the honor of Eagle Scout. He was a graduate of Georgia Tech, earned his Masters Degree from University of California, Berkley and was the recipient of the George Westinghouse Award for outstanding services.
Surviving in addition to his parents of Clemson are four sons, Randy Watkins and Timothy Ogle both of Meban, NC, Jay Ogle of Pittsfield, MA and Jonathan Ogle of Richmond, MA; one brother, Tony Ogle of Houston, TX; one sister, Diane Riddle of Chattanooga, TN; and three grandchildren, Elena Ogle, Emma Ogle and Harley Ogle.
Memorial services will be held at 12 noon, Wednesday at Clemson United Methodist Church with Rev. Paul Hutchison officiating.
The family will recieve friends from 11 to 12 noon prior to the service at the church.
The family is at the home of Roy and Margarette Ogle, 317 Tamassee Drive, Clemson, SC 29631.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Clemson United Methodist Church Building Fund, PO Box 590, Clemson, SC 29633.
