James Russell "Red" Price, 36, of 313 Odum Road, died Saturday, March 14, 2009 in Donaldsonville, LA.
Born in Richmond County, GA, a son of Linda June Harris Zayas of the home and the late Woodrow Wilson Price. He was a licensed pipefitter and plumber where he worked with Capital Plumbing and Piedmont Plumbing of Easley and Rosco Larcey Plumbing of Statesboro, GA and was an avid fisherman.
Surviving in addition to his mother are a sister, Celia P. Jeffries and husband, Richard of Sharpsburg, GA; a brother, Franklin Johnson and his fiance, Vicksburg, MS; two half-sisters, Adell Price Waters and Shirley Price Milligan both of Augusta, GA ; a beloved cat, Gruff; and a frog, Budrow.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a step-father, Jesse Zayas; a brother, Woodrow Wilson Price, II; and a step-brother, Michael Price.
Funeral services will be 2 PM, Friday at Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road with burial in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM, Thursday at the funeral home.
