James "Baby Ray" Rogel Ray, 63, of 8 11th Street, Judson, died Saturday October 20, 2007 at St. Francis Hospital.
Mr. Ray was born in Elberton, Georgia, a son of Mary Coal Ray, of Greenville and the late Otto Robert Ray. Mr. Ray was a dispatcher for the Yellow Cab Company in Greenville.
Surviving in addition to his mother are three sons, James Anthony Ray, of Gaffney, Rogel Dale Ray, of Greenville and Jo Don Steel Ray, of the home; a brother, Charlie Ray, of the home; two sisters, Lovine Mayers, of Anderson and Sally Powell, of Travelers Rest; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; his extended family, a special friend and companion, Margie Dean McCauley, of Greenville, Mary Beth Baker, of Greenville, Amy Hawkins and her son, John Michael Ramey, both of Travelers Rest.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sara Rhodes.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM, Monday at the funeral home.
The family is at the home of his mother, 8 11th Street, Judson, Greenville.
