James Alvin Revis, Jr., 61, of 209 Creek Drive, died Wednesday January 21, 2009 at Palmetto Health Baptist, Easley.
Mr. Revis was born in Pickens County, SC, a son of the late James Alvin Revis, Sr. and Thelma Medlin Revis. He was the owner and operator of Revis Enterprises and had been honored for forty years of safe driving.
Surviving are two sons, Gene Revis (Lisa), of Charlotte, NC and Brad Revis (Libby), of Easley, SC ; a brother, Grady Revis (Donna), of Greenville, SC ; a sister, Shelby Jean Tallman (Theodore B.), of Six Mile, SC 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Revis and a brother, Edward G. Revis.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road with the Reverend Rich Hayes officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
The family is at the home and will receive friends from 10:00 am until 11:00 am Saturday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
