James "Jim" Edwin Roach, 54, of 109 Wilson Place Court, passed away Friday July 29, 2011.
Mr. Roach was born in Bluefield, West Virginia, a son of Irene B. Roach, of Easley, SC and the late James B. Roach, Jr. He attended the University of Tennessee and was a financial planner for the last 30 years. He was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church and his love was hiking, running and camping with his children.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Wendy Higgs Roach; a son, Hunter Roach; daughters, Kristen and Moriah Roach; a sister, Susan R. Williams; an aunt, Mary Ruth Scott; an uncle Carl Ed Bowling and his wife, Launa.
A memorial service will be 3:00 PM Monday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, Easley, with the Reverend Dr. David Gallamore, Dr. Dane Smith and Mr. Bryan Dove officiating.
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 2:45 PM Monday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
A special thanks to the ICU Department at Greenville Memorial Hospital and the staff at McCall Hospice House for their care and concern.
The family is at the home and also at the home of his mother, 104 Baldwin Place, Easley.
