Pendleton, SC
James Henry Smith, Jr., 60, of 224 Micasa Drive, died Saturday, May 16, 2009 at his residence.
Born in Greenville County, a son of Bonnie Young Smith of Pendleton and the late James H. Smith, Sr., he was a salesman, a US Army Vietnam era veteran and a member of Faith Fellowship Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his mother are; two sons, Courtland Smith of Greenville and Torrey (Julie) Gilstrap of Pickens; three daughters, Raena S. Boiter of Augusta, GA, Dana S. (Donnie) Chavous of Hepzibah, GA and Ashlea Bronwen Smith of Anderson; one brother, David L. (Lisa) Smith of Easley; two sisters, Sylvia S. Durham of Pendleton and Beth S. (Larry) Walker of Lakemont, GA; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 3:30 PM, Monday in the Chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central with Rev. Mike Cothran officiating.
Burial will follow in Flat Rock Baptist Church Cemetery, Liberty, SC.
Visitation will be from 2:30 to 3:30 PM, Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.
