JAMES ALLEN STANLEY, JR - Nags Head, NC
James Allen Stanley, Jr., 77, died Sunday, March 26, 2006, at his daughter's residence in Nags Head, NC. He was the son of the late Lillie Folsom and James Allen Stanley.
He was a US Air Force veteran. He graduated from Clemson University in 1949 with a Mechanical Engineering degree. He retired as Energy Conservation Officer Staff Administrator at Clemson University. He was a member of Sun Rise Church of Christ in Kill Devil Hills, NC. He was former President and Chairman of the Board for the Clemson Sertoma Club.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Lee Boswell of Nags Head, NC; his son, James Allen Stanley, III of Iron Station, NC; his daughter and son-in-law, Janice and John Ehrenreich of Gastonia, NC; his daughter, Ann Duffy of Richmond, VA; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Oconee Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central-Clemson Commons, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
