James "Ed" Todd

James Edward "Ed" Todd, 85, of Liberty, passed away peacefully at his home on July 4, 2021.
Ed is survived by his wife and best friend of 63 years, Ruby Kelley Todd, and 3 children, Greg Todd(Krystal) of Easley, Paula White of Pickens, and Amy Martin(Randy) of Liberty. Also, 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Ed was born the son of Harrison Todd and Velma Moore. He was predeceased by his parents, 1 brother, J.W. Todd, and 4 sisters, Lib, Corrine, Ruth, and Dorothy. Surviving is a brother, R.B. Todd of Easley and a sister, Linda Bright of Bath.
Ed was employed at Alice Manufacturing for many years until he retired at the age of 73. He was of the christian faith and attended church at the Liberty Church of God of Prophecy. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and most of all, spending time with his wife. Everyone who knew him, knew how fun his personality was.
Per his request and wishes, there will be no memorial service. His final resting place will be at Memory Gardens in Clemson.
The family gives special thanks to Prisma Health Cancer Institute and all the wonderful staff at Hospice of the Upstate.
