James "Jimmy" M. Tompkins, 88, of Easley, passed away November 26, 2020.
Born in Hurricane, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Melvin and Bessie Nicholson Tompkins and husband to the late Bobbie Sentell Tompkins.
He is survived by his daughter, Mellissa Tompkins Winkler (Brian) of Easley; son, Rodger Tompkins (Loretta) of Easley; grandchildren, Kayla Tompkins McCollum (Tyson) and Chad Tompkins. Mr. Tompkins is also survived by his five great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by a daughter, Kimberly Tompkins Jenkins and a grandson, Skeeter Tompkins.
Mr. Tompkins was a long time member of Arial Baptist Church. Mr Tompkins was a veteran having served his country in the 82nd Airborne Division during the Korean War.
A graveside service at Greenlawn Memorial Park will be held at a later date.
