James Timothy "Tim" Turner

James Timothy "Tim" Turner, 77, husband of 55 years to Judy White Turner, of Powdersville, passed away surrounded by his loving family Wednesday, February 8, 2023.

Born in Greenville, SC, he was a son of the late James Truman Turner and the late Margaret Duffie Turner. Tim was a member of Siloam Baptist Church where he was a Sunday School Teacher, a member of the choir, and served as a Deacon. He received his associate degree in business from Anderson College and a bachelor's degree in business management in Business Management from USCS Upstate. He was the Vice President of Jennings Dill Mechanical Contractors for 31 years. After he retired, he went to go work for Furman University. Tim was a member of the Clemson IPTAY for 52 years. He was a beloved family man who enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. Tim served his country in the United States Army,3rd Infantry Division in Germany during the Vietnam War

Surviving, are sons, James Todd Turner (Connie) of Groton, MA, and Grant Edward Turner (Jordan) of Powdersville, SC; a sister, Pam Fielder (Jeff) of Easley, SC; grandchildren, Braelyn, Bowman, Liza, Walker, Thomas, Daniel, Julie.

In addition to his and parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Ron Turner, and Bob Turner.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 13 , 2023 at Siloam Baptist Church, 229 Siloam Road Easley, South Carolina 29642

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. day at the church, prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Siloam Baptist Church benevolent fund, 229 Siloam Road Easley, South Carolina 29642
