James T. Wade

James "Jim" Thomas Wade, 85, of 126 Leisure Drive, died Friday, May 15, 2009 at Palmetto Health Baptist-Easley.
Born in Pickens County, a son of the late Thomas and Bertha Lee Allen Wade, he was a self-employed businessman, a 32nd Degree Mason, a Shriner, a US Army Veteran of WWII and a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
Surviving are one son, James G. Wade, Sr. and his wife, Patsy, of Easley; brothers, Roy Wade and wife, Martha and Jerry Wade and wife, Joan, all of Easley; one sister, Lila Mauldin of Sarasota, FL; two grandchildren, James and Ashley Nicole Wade both of Easley and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy "Dot" Marchbanks Wade; a brother, T.M. "Frosty" Wade; and a sister, Ruby W. Brown.
Cryptside services with Military Honors will be 1:00 PM Monday, in the Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum, Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642 with Reverend Paul Turner officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 to 12:45 prior to the service at Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road.
The family will be at his home, 126 Leisure Drive, Easley, SC 29640.
