James M. Waldrop

James M. "Rabbit" Waldrop, 59, of 103 Homeland Court, husband of the late Eloise Cantrell Waldrop, died Friday, April 11, 2008, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Pickens County, a son of Janie Pearson Waldrop of Easley, and the late Marvin Waldrop, Mr. Waldrop retired from New Life Enviromental Company and was a member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the US Army having served in Vietnam.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are four daughters, Traci Kjear of Liberty, Cheryle Wright, Anita Bishop and Ann Wiles, all of Easley; two brothers, Jerry Waldrop and wife, Darlene, and Tony Waldrop and wife, Doris, all of Easley; eight grandchildren, Dustin Winchester, Cody Kjear, Stewart Kennemore, Kendall Kjear, Selene Wright, Brooke-Ann Bishop, Heather Bishop and Chloe Kjear. In addition to his wife and father, Mr. Waldrop was predeceased by a brother, Dee Waldrop.
Funeral services will be 3:30 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Dr. Jim Spencer and Rev. Rodney Graham officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 1:30 until 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
