James Hagood "Jimmy" Whitt, 71, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Majesty Health and Rehab in Easley.
Born in Anderson, to the late Waymon Willard and Pearl Browning Whitt, James worked as an electrician for Blacks Electric for many years and was an avid deer hunter. He was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Whitt is survived by a sister, Helen Whitt; a sister-in-law, Sandra Whitt; two nieces, Tracy Thomas (Rodney) and Deanna Gantt (Scott); and six great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Robert W. Whitt.
Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 2, 2014 in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Pickens.
Visitation will be from 12:30 P.M. until 1:45 P.M. Thursday, prior to the service, at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
The family is at the home of Sandra Whitt.
