Mr. James Billy Wyatt, 84, loving husband of Ramona Cooper Wyatt, went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, June 23, 2017.
Born in Anderson County, a son of the late James Luther and Annie Tripp Wyatt, Mr. Wyatt retired from the Beattie Plant of Dan River Mills and was a life long member and faithful usher of Siloam Baptist Church. He was a US Air Force Veteran.
Billy was a loving husband, father and friend to all. He had a love for gardening, tractors, trains and anything mechanical. He could fix anything.
Surviving in addition to his wife of sixty-one years, are a son, Barry Wyatt (Tammy) of Simpsonville; a daughter, Beth Couch (Jerry) of Pickens; two brothers, Luke Wyatt and John Wyatt (Brenda), all of Piedmont; four grandchildren, Drew Stegall of Greenville, Justin Lowery of Greenville, Meredith Owens (David) of Central, and Emily Herbert (Pete) of Boone, NC; and three great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wyatt was predeceased by a brother, Jim Wyatt and his step-mother, Bertha Pitts Wyatt.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Siloam Baptist Church with Reverends Jack Cooper and Troy Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 2:45 PM Sunday at the church, prior to the service.
