James Milton "Milt" YoungEasley, SC

Mr. James Milton "Milt" Young, 90, of Easley, loving husband of the late Dorothy Adkins Young, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca.

Milt was born in Anderson County on July 16, 1925 to the late Henry Cooley, Sr. and Byrd Annette Smith Young. He graduated from Easley High School and worked for over 40 years with Alice Manufacturing Company. His work ethic lasted his whole life, from growing up on a farm, to his days at Alice, and even after retirement, gardening and working in his yard. He was a US Navy WWII Combat Veteran and was a member of Jones Avenue Baptist Church.

Milt is survived by a son; James E. Young of Easley; and a brother; Franklin Young of Texas. In addition to his wife and his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Easley. The family will receive friends immediately following the services at the Cemetery.
