Jamie Caywood-Miller

Jamie Caywood-Miller, 65, daughter of James & Cleta Caywood, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2023.

Jamie was born in Houma, LA on July 27th,1957. She received her Bachelor’s in Nursing from Southwestern Michigan College and was an RN for many years. She specialized in newborns and loved her time working in the NICU. Jamie had a passion for cooking and loved experimenting with many different recipes. She enjoyed camping and the Florida beaches. She was a vibrant, happy, fun-loving woman who loved her family – especially her grandchildren. She was always taking care of those around her and continued to do so by being an organ donor. 

Surviving in addition to her parents is her life partner John McNally of the home; sons, Michael Elliott of Elizabethton TN, and Lucas Miller of Piedmont SC; daughters Melissa Smith (Daniel) of Elizabethton TN and Allison Kingsland (Brian) of Pendleton SC; brother Cletus Caywood (Robin) of Easley SC. And her 6 beautiful grandchildren – Cheyenne, Ethan, Colin, Jameson, Claire, and Miles.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Keith Caywood. 

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 22, 2023, at the Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642.
