Jane Finley Fowler

Jane Finley Fowler, 76, the beloved wife of Thomas E. Fowler, of Easley, passed away on May 20, 2024. 

Born in Greenville, South Carolina, Jane was the daughter of the late Ossie C. and Edith Finley. Jane was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church in Easley. Before returning to her childhood church, Rock Springs, she was a member of Tremont Avenue Church of God for 46 years. Jane’s love and dedication to the Lord was the cornerstone of her life. Jane taught Kindergarten at Washington Avenue Christian School from 1976 to 1987. She then worked for Greenville County Schools at Greenview Elementary and Thomas E. Kerns before retiring in 2012. Throughout these years, Jane touched the lives of countless children and colleagues. Jane's laughter was infectious, and her love for her family knew no bounds. She found joy in the simple moments and brought light into every room she entered. Though she has left this world, Jane's spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

 In addition to her husband of 57 years, Jane is survived by her daughter, Tracy, sister, Diane Forrester (Leroy), and brother Roy Finley (Sherry). Jane is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces

 In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her brother Milton Eugene Finley.

 A celebration of Jane's life will be held at Rock Springs Baptist Church at 3:00 PM on Thursday, May 23, 2024. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 2:45 PM at the church prior to the service. Burial will follow the service in Robinson Memorial Gardens. Let us gather to honor her memory and find comfort in each other's presence as we bid farewell to a remarkable woman.
