Clara Jane Whitaker Garrison, 87, formerly of Cobblestone Trace, wife of the late David M. Garrison, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at Magnolia's of Easley.
Born in Cedartown, GA, a daughter of the late Joseph Edward and Matilda West Whitaker, Mrs. Garrison formerly worked with her husband at their drug Store in Seneca (Lunney's Drug Store) and was a former member of St. Mark United Methodist Church in Seneca. She was currently a member of Easley First United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Dr. David "Chris" Garrison (Charlotte) of Easley and Michael Marius Garrison (Carla); four grandchildren, David C. Garrison, Jr., (Candie), Caroline Whitaker Garrison, William Marius Garrison and Michael Joseph Elijah Garrison; and a great-grandson, David Luke Garrison.
Memorial graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday at Oconee Memorial Park in Seneca.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Friday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
