Jane H. McAlister, 70, widow of Tommy G. McAlister Sr., of Central passed away Sunday, September 13, 2009 after battling a long illness, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
As a college graduate, she was retired from Oconee Medical Center as an Administrative Assistant to the Director of Nursing at their Lila Doyle facility. She was a member of Trinity Wesleyan Church.
Born in Central, she was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar T. Hunter Sr. and Lila Mae James Hunter; and sister, Linda Westbrook. She was survived by son, Tommy G. McAlister II, of Abbeville, and his wife, Ali T. McAlister, and their son, Tommy G. McAlister III (Trey); daughter, Lisa A. Seaborn, of Central, and her husband, Doug Seaborn, and their children, Amanda L. Carrell and her husband, Thomas, of Pope AFB, Emily R. Trumbower and her husband, Eric, of Central, Hollianne N. Seaborn, Eli Seaborn, Hunter L. Seaborn, all of Central; and her brother, Edgar T. Hunter Jr., of Clemson, and his wife Elaine H. Hunter.
The family will be at the home of Lisa and Doug Seaborn, 235 Pike Road, in Central.
Visitation will be at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home Tuesday from 7pm-9pm.
Services will be held at Trinity Wesleyan Church Wednesday at 12 noon.
Memorials may be made to Trinity Wesleyan Church in Jane's memory.
