Jane Waldrop Staton, 69, wife of the late Arnold Ules Staton, passed away Friday, May 3, 2013 at her home.
Born in Pickens on June 12, 1943, to the late Ross and Eva Curtis Waldrop, Mrs. Staton was a member of Mile Creek Baptist Church in Six Mile, and a retiree of Ryobi in Pickens. She enjoyed spending time with her family, being outdoors, and helping anyone she could.
She is survived by two sons, Mike Staton (Julia) of Pickens, and Mark Staton (Brenda) of Denver, NC; a daughter, Lynn Romero (Jimmy) of Indian Trail, NC; a sister, Bettie Ellenburg (Sam) of Easley; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Joel Waldrop and a child.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, May 6, 2013 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.
Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Sunday, at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
The family is at the residence.
