Janet Anne Belbusti

Janet A. Taylor Belbusti, 88, of Easley, SC and Framingham, MA passed away peacefully on September 7, 2022 at the McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville, SC.  She was the devoted wife of the late Paul Belbusti for 53 years.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, and raised in Portage, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of the late Byron and Mae Taylor, and sister of the late Byron Taylor Jr.  After graduating from Portage High School, Class of 1952, Janet attended Madison Business College at the University of Wisconsin.  She worked as a secretary for MIT Lincoln Labs in Lexington, MA, and the Equifax Corporation in Peabody, MA.

A homemaker at heart, Janet always entertained her guests with a buffet of appetizers, set a beautiful table, and with her husband, Paul, established the tradition of the Christmas Eve open house with recipes still used and enjoyed by her family today.     

Janet is survived by her sister-in-law, Ines Belbusti of Virginia Beach, VA; sister-in-law, Diane Taylor Firari of Lake Mills, WI; and her many nieces and nephews:  Pamela Edrehi and her husband Charles of Framingham, MA; Lucille Boland and her husband Terry of Amboy, IN; Edward Belbusti of New Castle, VA; Cynthia Young of Canberra, Australia; Joanne Hewitt and her husband Robert of Virginia Beach, VA; Teresa Lee of Henrico, VA; John Belbusti and his wife Christine of Scarsdale, NY; Kristine Dalton and her husband Robert of Kiel, WI; Judith Philips and her husband James of Lake Mills, WI; Jeffrey Taylor and his wife Trudy of Portage, WI; Kathryn Davis and her husband Stuart of Cuyahoga Falls, OH.

A private memorial service and burial will be held this September at St. Tarcisius Cemetery in Framingham, Massachusetts.
