Janet Ruth Bailey Williamson formerly Janet Sweezey, 67, of 307 Old Pendleton Road, beloved wife and mother, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday November 1, 2006.
Born in Wilmington, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Mildred Weller Bailey. She was a graduate of Coral Gables High School in Miami, Florida and a member of Daystar Baptist Fellowship. She formerly worked as a dispatcher at the Mauldin Police Department and most recently was a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband, Jerry L. Williamson, Sr., of the home ; two sons, Chuck Sweezey, and his wife, Julie, of Anderson and the Reverend Jerry L. Williamson, Jr., and his wife, Heather, of Surfside Beach ; three daughters, Kristin Duncan and her husband, Tony, of Easley, Lynn Anders, of Greer and Debra Johnson, of Taylors ; a brother, Zane Bailey, of Xenia, Ohio ; 20 grandchildren ; 14 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Tralane Sweezey, a brother, Vurnes Bailey and a sister, Barbara Musgrove.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road, conducted by the Reverends Mike Reid and Jerry L. Williamson, Jr. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley.
Visitation will be Friday from 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm at the funeral home.
The family is at the residence.
