Janice Mae Posey Barnes, 67, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital.
Mrs. Barnes was born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Frank and Pauline Smith Posey and was a member of Central Church of God.
Surviving are her husband, Harry L. Barnes; four sons, Joey Barnes(Francy) and Scott Barnes (Angie) of Easley, Tim Barnes (Stephanie) of Starr, and Frank Barnes of Central; two daughters, Susie Woods (Waco) of Seneca and Marie Talley (Newal) of Six Mile; two brothers, Perry Posey of Greer and Prue Posey of Liberty; one sister, Martha High of Greer; seventeen grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Clemson.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, March 18, 2013, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
Memorials may be made to the Central Church of God, Ladies Ministry, 204 College St, Central, SC 29630.
