Janice Rampey Dickard

Janice Rampey Dickard, 82, wife of the late Harold Judson Dickard, passed away Friday, September 24, 2021 at her home.

Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late William Oscar Rampey and the late Geneva Crowe Rampey, she was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed reading her Bible and spending time with family. She retired from the Alice Manufacturing Company Foster Plant after many years of service. Ms. Rampey was a member of Jones Avenue Baptist Church in Easley.

Surviving are sons, Russell Dickard (Kimberley) of Easley and Brian Dickard (Angel) of Fair Play; brothers, Joe Rampey (Grace) and Jim Rampey (Joyce), both of Liberty; a sister, Joan Dickson of Boynton Beach, FL; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Jack Rampey and Johnny Rampey; and a sister, Judy Rampey.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home, Downtown. Scroll to the video player below to view the service. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jones Avenue Baptist Church, 614 Ross Avenue, Easley, SC 29640.

The family will be at the home of Russell Dickard.
