Janice King Edwards, wife of the late Kenneth Edward Edwards, passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 5, 2022.
Born in Belton, SC, she was a daughter of the late R.A. King and the late Helen Cartee King. She was a loving mother and grandmother who had a passion for gardening flowers in her yard and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Edwards was a hairdresser at the Village Hairdresser in Greenville for many years and she was a faithful member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Terry Watson (Michelle) of Simpsonville; a daughter, Andrea Wilder (Mike) of Greenville; stepdaughters, Jennifer Galloway of York, SC and Hollye Kavanagh (Danny) of Brandon, MS; stepson, Cade Edwards (Christine) of Simpsonville; 5 grandchildren (spouses); and 8 step-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Betty Hargrove.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Rock Springs Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at the church, prior to the service.
