Mrs. Janice Melonee Nalley Gassaway, 77, wife of the late James Edward Gassaway, passed away Monday, January 14, 2019.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Hubert and Freddie Mae Brown Nalley, Mrs. Gassaway retired from Easley Family Practice and was a member of Easley First Wesleyan Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Melanie Hope Gassaway of Los Angeles, CA; three brothers, Wayne Nalley, Bobby Nalley and Chupene Nalley, all of Easley; and two sisters, Ruth Lee Simmons and Frances Vaughn, both of Easley. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Gassaway was predeceased by a brother, Gale Nalley; and two sisters, Barbara Childs and Carol Nalley.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 21, 2019 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
Family members are at their respective homes.
