Janice Claudette Neely Halman, 60, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2013, at Rainey Hospice House.
Mrs. Halman was born in Anderson County, daughter of the late Henry and Millie Lois Spearman Neely. She had served as principal of Orchard Park Elementary School, and had also served as a teacher and curriculum coordinator, in Oconee County School District. Mrs. Halman was a member of Refuge Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Craig Halman; one son, Matthew Craig Halman of Central; daughter-in-law, Michelle M. Halman of Central; a sister-in-law, Kimberly Hicks Neely of Seneca; grandchildren Kaylie Ann, Robert Henry, and Janna Katherine Lois Halman.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a brother, Steve Neely.
Funeral services will be Sunday, April 28, 2013 at 3:30 P. M. in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Refuge Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 P. M. until 3:15 P. M. Sunday, at the funeral home.
