Janice Marie Parton Lesley, 73, wife of James H. Lesley, of Easley, passed away Monday, March 14, 2022.
Born in Waynesville, NC, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Mary Caldwell Parton.
Mrs. Lesley was a bookkeeper at Getty's Middle School for almost 30 years and a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.
She was an avid reader and loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchild.
In addition to her loving husband of 53 years, Mrs. Lesley is survived by sons, Jay Lesley (Carrie) and Michael Lesley (Jaclyn), both of Easley; grandchildren, Jakob, Olivia, Mallari, Taylor, Blake, Brody and Bella; a great-grandchild, Amelia; and a brother. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Maggie.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Rock Springs Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Zion Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at the church.
