Janice Ruth Carovillano Lippincott, 84, wife of the late Ronald Bruce Lippincott, passed peacefully away on Friday, April 3, 2026. Born in Frenchtown NJ, on April 30, 1941, to the late George Carovillano and the late Ruth Duckworth Carovillano. Janice was a member of Easley Presbyterian Church. She leaves behind a legacy of artistry, warmth, and devotion that touched all who knew her. Janice was a remarkable woman whose life was a vibrant tapestry woven with creativity, love, and dedication.
Janice’s hands were instruments of wonder and creativity. She was deeply crafty, finding joy in ceramics and cross-stitching in her early years. Whether shaping clay or stitching threads, her creative energy brought to life delicate works imbued with her meticulous care and skill. Her beautiful creations were an extension of the love she shared—as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, whose presence was a source of light and comfort to her family.
Janice retired from Fluor Daniel where she held a distinguished career as an accountant. Yet, it was her artistic spirit that truly defined her days beyond the office walls. She traveled across states, sharing her soul through watercolor artwork that captivated hearts far and wide. Her depictions of nature scenes, historic cities, cardinals and nativity scenes were not only beautiful but cherished treasures, selling out swiftly whenever she displayed them. These pieces carried more than pigment and paper bore the mark of a great lady admired for her artistic vision and heartfelt expression.
In addition to her husband and her parents, she is preceded in death by two grandsons, Tyler Richardson and Nicholas Lippincott and brother, Wayne Carovillano.
She is survived by son, Bryan Lippincott; daughter, Sharon Richardson (Jeff); grandchildren, Zach Lippincott (Ella), Seth Richardson and Emily Lippincott; great-grandchildren, Greyson, Asher, Beckett and Everleigh.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 12:45 PM on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Easley Presbyterian Church in the parlor. Her memorial service will follow at 1:00 PM in the sanctuary.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Janice's memory to Easley Presbyterian Church at https://easleypresbyterian.org or at 200 S 1st St, Easley, SC 29640.
Her journey may have come to a close, but the vivid colors of her life’s canvas continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
