Janice Dunbar Moser

Janice Dunbar Moser, 84, beloved wife of Robert (Bob) W. Moser, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 18, 2024.

Born in Charlotte, NC, but raised in Chester, SC, Janice was the daughter of the late James E. Dunbar, Jr and Rebecca Simril Dunbar.  She was a graduate of the Chester High School Class of 1957, and the Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing in Charlotte, NC Class of 1960.  Janice spent her career in public health, working for the Chester County Hospital and as a Public Health Nurse with the SC Department of Health.   She was a lifelong Presbyterian and active member at Purity Presbyterian Church in Chester, SC and Fourth Presbyterian Church in Greenville, SC.  

Janice and Bob started dating in High School, dated throughout college, and recently celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary.  She is survived by her husband Bob, son Rob and his wife Avery, three grandsons, Robert, Charles, and Thomas, a brother James E Dunbar III, and son-in-law Bryan W Adams.  She is proceeded in death by her daughter Angela Moser Adams.  Most importantly, she leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, devotion, and service to others.

Services will be held at the Chapel at Foothills Presbyterian Home in Easley, SC at 2pm on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.
