Mrs. Janice "Jan" Howell Owens, 72, wife of John William Owens, went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, July 1, 2022.

Born in York County, the daughter of the late Gist Smith Howell and the late Jeanette Carol Howell, Mrs. Owens was a graduate of York Technical College where she earned her Associate Degree in Radiology and retired from Greenville Radiology with over thirty-eight years of service. She was a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church.

Jan loved the outdoors, especially working in her flower garden, but her greatest love was being a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her.

Surviving, in addition to her husband of forty-five years, are her daughter, Lindsey Ruth Owens Harris (Austin) of Moore; her brother, Stanley Joel Howell (Kathy) of Roswell, GA; her brothers-in-law and sister in law, Steve Owens (Cindy), and Bert Owens, all of Easley; her granddaughter, Ellie Catherine Harris; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be 2:00 PM Thursday, July 7, 2022 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Phillip Blankenship officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Jan to Interim Healthcare Hospice, 14 Hyland Road, Greenville, SC 29615.
