Janice E. Stürner

Janice E. Stürner, wife of the late Rudolf “Rudy” Hartwig Stürner, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2024. 

Born on September 28, 1947 in Greenville, SC she was a daughter of the late John B. and Zoie M. Allen. 

Janice spent most of her career at Ryobi where she worked alongside her husband for 40 years. Outside of her career Janice had a wide range of hobbies and interests that brought her joy. She found solace in Crafting and spent quality time making cards with her grandchildren. She enjoyed Shopping and traveling to the beach. Janice also had a knack for finding treasures at yard sales and nurturing her beloved elephant ear plants, showcasing her green thumb.

Janice was a cherished wife to Rudolf Stürner and a loving daughter to her late parents. She is survived by her son Jonathan Stürner (Sara) of Central and daughter Penny Winchester (Donald) of Easley. Her presence will be deeply missed by her grandchildren Tiffany Barnes (David), Will Stürner, and Katie Stürner;  her great-grandchildren Dakota and Ezekiel Barnes, and her beloved dogs Roxy and Bella. 

In addition to her immediate family, Janice leaves behind her siblings: Russell "Rusty" (Regena), Allen, Gene, Donny, David, Bobby, and Sandra Hawthorne.

Services to honor Janice's life will take place at Duckett - Robinson Funeral Home located at 108 Cross Creek Road in Central, SC. A visitation will be held on June 11, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM.
