Janie Mae Martin

Janie Mae Martin, widow of the late Junior Martin, passed away April 16th, 2023.

Born in Easley, SC, she was the daughter of the late Austin and Etta Mae Hamilton. Janie loved to work out in the yard, especially planting beautiful flowers. Janie had a passion for sewing as well. She was a member of Central Independent Baptist Church, where she loved to sing for many years.

Janie is survived by her daughters, Dianne Pilgrim and husband, Hoyt of Pickens and Judy Green and husband, Ralph of Easley; sons, Dean Martin and wife, Rita of Pickens, Darryl Martin and wife, Darlene of Six Mile, and Dale Martin of Central; grandchildren, Jody Pilgrim and wife Wendy, Shaun Gaines and wife, Kelly, Tiffany Martin, Haley Smith and husband, Ryan, and Amanda Martin. Janie is also survived by three great-grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 19th from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, 108 Cross Creek Rd., Central.

A graveside service will follow the visitation at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Central, SC.
