Janis Azlee Coe Eaton,83, of Easley, passed away Wednesday, November 24,2010 at McCall Hospice House, a week before her 84th birthday. She was one of eleven children born to the late Kenneth and Minnie Lou Elder Coe of Byrdstown, Tennessee.
Surviving are her husband of almost 65 years, James Cather Eaton, Sr., of Greenville SC; four children, Barbara Dunlap and her husband Gene, of Easley, Claudia Grier and her husband Tommy of Lancaster, Sally Maxey and her Husand Jerry of Piedmont, and James Eaton, Jr., and his wife Megan of Easley; two brothers, Henry Coe of Wayne, MI; and Bill Coe of Cookeville, TN; two sisters Kay Dyer of Hanes City, FL and Joyce Huddleston of Muncie, IN.; seven grandchildren; Rusty Dunlap, Jennifer Weeks, Brian Grier, Laura Grier, Melodie Smith, Aaron Eaton, and Azlee Eaton; five great-grandchildren; Rusty Allen Dunlap, Peyton and Josh Weeks; and Jackson and Bailey Grier.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Eaton was predeceased by two sisters, Gladys Groce and Betty Cooper and two brothers, Bob Coe, Charles Coe.
Memorial service will be at Saint Matthias Lutheran Church, 501 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC, Sunday, December 12, at 2:00PM
