Jannet Bryant Stasney, 89 of Pendleton passed away on Monday, June 29, 2020. Born February 20, 1931 in Pickens County to Henry and Ressie Dacus Bryant.
Jannet retired after 20+ years at Milliken Finishing Plant. She was a member of Faith Fellowship Church. She enjoyed worship and fellowship with her church community. Before her decline in health she enjoyed driving her car to visit family and friends. On Monday evening she was eternally reunited with the love of her life her husband Henry and her favorite cat "Booty".
In addition to her husband and parents Jannet was predeceased in death by a son, Henry Alvin Stasney; a son-in-law, Donny Norris; four brothers, Marvin Bryant, Julian Bryant, Floyd Bryant and Lloyd Bryant; four sisters, Allene Denny, Etrulla Yeargin, Ila Simpson, and Clara Head.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Norris, Brenda Porter and husband, Lamar of Pendleton; one brother, Nathern Bryant of Anderson; two sisters, Mable Pelfrey and husband, Raymond of Pendleton, Emma Lou Worley of Laurens; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
A public graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Memory Gardens. Rev. Larry Bright will conduct the service. Pallbearers assisting with the service include Chris Norris, Michael Porter, Hobie Porter, and Ray Citrone. Due to COVID19, social distancing will be observed and face masks are strongly encouraged.
