Jean May Seymour Baldwin, 72, of 552 Gap Hill Road, wife of the late Ivan Leroy Baldwin, died Saturday, June 10, 2006, at Cannon Memorial Hospital.

Born in Wayne County, NY, a daughter of the late Laverne and Gladys Lester Seymour, Mrs. Baldwin was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith.

Surviving are five sons, Raymond Baldwin of Savannah, NY, Sanford Baldwin, Ivan Baldwin, Jr., Ernest Baldwin, and Harry Baldwin all of Six Mile; two daughters, Linda Baldwin and Sherry Kuykendall Wood, both of Six Mile; two sisters, Ruth Husner of Norris, Doris Herd of Gastonia, NC; 18 grandchildren, and 39 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Dianne Baldwin; a brother, Roy Seymour; and a sister, Eva Dailey.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Monday at Gap Hill Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Boyce Whitman and Reverend Dr. Ray Longnecker officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens.

The body is at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown where the family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 until 6:00 PM and will be place in the church at 2:00 PM on Monday.
