Jean Lillian Johansen Bawkum

Jean Lillian Johansen Bawkum, 82, of Clemson, wife to the late David Bawkum, passed away March 7, 2022.
Born in Niles, MI, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Marguerite Johansen. Jean was a member of Clemson United Methodist Church, Delta Delta Delta Sorority and was an active volunteer in the local community. She loved art, painting and being outdoors spending time in her yard and garden. Jean was proud to have fought cancer and was a seven-year breast cancer survivor.
She is survived by her two sons, a daughter-in-law and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 11, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at Clemson United Methodist Church.
Funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary.
Burial will be Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Chapin United Methodist Church Cemetery.
