Jean Marie Bloomer, 94, formerly of Easley and wife of the late Ronald Leslie Bloomer, passed away Thursday July 17, 2014 at The Cascades at Verdae in Greenville, SC.
Mrs. Bloomer was born in Three Rivers, Michigan in 1919 to the late John and Edna Everhart Mallett. She was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist Faith.
Mrs. Bloomer enjoyed playing the organ, painting, traveling and camping.
Surviving are three sons, Lawrence "Larry" J. Bloomer (Dannelle) of Greenville, SC, Douglas F.Bloomer (Angel), of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Kent Bloomer, of Salem, SC; a daughter, Catherine Foster, of Towanda, Pennsylvania; 8 grandchildren, Matthew, Marc, Eric, Kristopher and Jonathan Bloomer, Brad Foster, Robert and Christine Jenny; a step-granddaughter, Jessica L. Brooks; several great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonny Lee Jenny.
A memorial service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday July 23, 2014 in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until 1:45 pm, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
