Eugenia "Jean" Rochester Ballew Dacus, 93, of Easley, wife of the late Woodrow Ballew and the late Henry Dacus, passed away Monday, December 8, 2014 at McCall Hospice House.

Born July 16, 1921 in Walhalla, she was a daughter of the late Clarence Franklin and Mary Jane Davis Rochester. Mrs. Dacus was formerly employed with Union Carbide, but was a homemaker the latter part of her life. She was a friend to everyone and she loved serving the Lord. Mrs. Dacus was a longtime member of Calvary Assembly of God Church, and was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Mrs. Dacus is survived by her children, Bob Ballew (Nancy), Doug Ballew, Jim Ballew (Beth) and Janice Ballew; grandchildren, Kristen Tinsley, Justin Ballew, Sandra Bogle, Joshua Fink, Joseph Fink and Jody Weaver; great-grandchildren, Emma, Grayson and David.

In addition to her husbands, parents and siblings, she was predeceased by a grandson, Woody Ballew.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 10, 2014 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home.

The family is at their respective homes.
