Jean Moody Ladd

Jean Moody Ladd, 66, wife of James F. Ladd, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2022.

Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late John Moody and the late Alice Mathis Moody, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed baking cakes, knitting, fishing, and spending time with her family. She was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are sons, James "Jimmy" F. Ladd, Jr. (Sheena) and Bradley E. Ladd; a daughter, Christy M. Taylor (Tommy); a brother, Terry Moody (Kathy); sisters, Evelyn Bryson and Linda Barrett (John); grandchildren, Makayla Ladd, Connor Ladd, Samantha Taylor, and Marcus Taylor; and great-grandchildren, Saphira Taylor, Abigail Martin, Arabella Martin, and Alexandria Martin, all of Easley.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Johnny, Billy, and Bobby Moody; and a granddaughter, Trinity Ladd.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642. Inurnment will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum.
