Jean Goodman Lewis, 78, of Pendleton died Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at the AnMed Hospital in Anderson. A native of Clemson she was the daughter of the late Jesse S. and Lena Moore Goodman. She was the owner of Kay's Shop in Clemson for twenty years. She was a lifelong member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church and regularly attended the St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Pendleton. She was an avid golfer, an active volunteer for the Clemson Little Theater and was chairman of St. Paul's Thrift Shop. She also was instrumental in the ongoing restoration and upkeep of St. Paul's Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Catherine Ann Lewis of Atlanta and a special friend and caregiver, Barbara Cobb of Pendleton.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 2pm at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Pendleton with an inurnment to follow at Old Stone Church Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058 or to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, c/o Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 193 Old Greenville Highway, Clemson, SC 29631.
