Jean Davis Sullivan of 125 Von Hollen Drive, went to be with the Lord Thursday May 20, 2010 at her home.
Mrs. Sullivan was born in McNairy County, Tennessee, a daughter of the late Henry Pryor and Otella Howell Davis. She retired from the Greenville Hospital System and later served as a clinical nurse at the Foothills Presbyterian Home. She was a member of Mt. Airy Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, the Reverend Wyndole Sullivan, of the home ; a son, George W. Sullivan, Jr. and his wife, Kathy, of Jupiter, Florida ; a daughter, Carol L. Pate and her husband, Charles, of Piedmont, SC and 5 grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Howell Davis and Bobby Davis.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Mt. Airy Baptist Church with the Reverend Julie Schaaf and the Reverend Dr. Keith Shorter officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 PM Saturday.
Members of the Wyndole Sullivan Sunday School Class at Mt. Airy Baptist Church are invited to serve as Escort of Honor for the funeral service.
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.
The family is at the home.
